What is a second-hand nucha filter dryer?
What is a second-hand nucha filter dryer?
The used nucha or nutsche filter is designed for vacuum extraction, filtration, and drying processes, mainly used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food sectors.

Filtration occurs due to the pressure difference between the upper and lower parts of the filter (the upper part having higher pressure), as the equipment can work under pressure and vacuum. Filtration depends on the type of product, so tests are necessary to choose the type of filter.

After filtration, the filter blades will lower to flatten the cake, pressing it to reduce moisture.

Next, the cake will be dried by applying vacuum to the upper part and heat to the tank wall, simultaneously rotating the blades in the opposite direction to improve heat transfer and evaporate the solvent.

Finally, the discharge valve will be opened, and the tank will be emptied.
