What is a vertical dryer used for?
A vertical dryer is mainly used in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Inside, it has pendular elements that convert the liquid or wet product into a thin layer and place it on the dryer wall for intensive mixing.
As a result, all volatile components that are part of the product evaporate after undergoing a boiling process. Finally, the final product becomes a powder; a powder that is discharged at the bottom of the dryer using an appropriate air closure.
