What is the utility of a glass balloon?
A glass balloon is a container made of glass material and has a bulbous shape, mainly used in distillation processes.
Its design is especially intended for heating various substances uniformly.
One of its main advantages lies in its round base, ideal for shaking and moving its contents easily without the risk of spilling. Sometimes, it can also have a side discharge tube whose main function is to allow the exit of vapors that may be produced during the distillation process.
