Industrial filter press manufactured by TEFSA, model HPLE, in 1998, with a filtration surface of 10.88 m², designed for solid-liquid separation processes by pressure filtration.
The unit has 17 filter plates measuring 800 x 800 mm, with a capacity to accommodate up to 21 plates. It features a closed design and allows operation at a maximum filtration pressure of 16 bar.
The filter press is equipped with a hydraulic power unit to operate the plate pack's opening and closing system. The hydraulic unit operates at 360 bar, providing the necessary force to keep the plates closed during the filtration process.
Its configuration allows the separation of solids suspended in a liquid by forming a filter cake between the plates, facilitating the recovery of the filtrate and the subsequent discharge of the retained solids.
The overall dimensions of the transport equipment are 4,000 mm in length, 1,400 mm in width and 2,150 mm in height.
