AGUILAR Y SALAS 316 STAINLESS STEEL REACTOR , 5,100 LITERS, WITH AGITATION, HALF-COIL AND HEAT INSULATED

Industrial reactor manufactured by AGUILAR Y SALAS in 1992, with a total capacity of 5,100 liters, built in 316/316L stainless steel and equipped with an agitation system, a half-pipe for heat exchange and thermal insulation (heatproofing).

The equipment is designed to operate under pressure, with a body working pressure of 3 bar and a working temperature of up to 150 °C. It includes a half-pipe for heating or cooling the product by circulating a thermal fluid, with a volume of 800 liters, a working pressure of 6 bar, and a working temperature of 150 °C.

The agitation system incorporates a two-bladed propeller at two heights, a baffle, and a mechanical seal to promote product mixing and homogenization. It is powered by a 3 kW, 1,400 rpm ATEX motor connected to a gearbox with a 68.63:1 reduction ratio, providing an agitator rotation speed of 20.4 rpm.

The reactor has a vertical configuration supported on brackets, with Klöpper-type top and bottom ends. It incorporates a 450 mm internal diameter manhole located in the top end to facilitate access to the interior of the equipment.

In addition, it has load cells that allow the weight of the product contained in the reactor to be controlled.

The reactor body has an inner diameter of 1,800 mm and a height of 1,500 mm, with a thickness of 6 mm. The upper bottom has a thickness of 8 mm.

The equipment is prepared to work in ATEX conditions, under pressure and at high temperatures.

The overall dimensions for transport are 2,300 mm wide and 3,200 mm high, with a weight of 2,500 kg.
