New COSMOS 250 emulsifying reactor, manufactured by COMQUIMA in 2026.
Stainless steel skid, with AISI 316 stainless steel in all product-contact parts and a working capacity of 250 litres. The unit consists of a jacketed reactor and an agitation system with scrapers and homogenization:
AGITATION:
- FULLVISC laminar flow scraping system.
- Exclusive 3-arm scraper design.
- Nominal speed: 40 rpm.
- Power: 4 kW.
HOMOGENIZATION:
- M.X.O.N. 120 high-shear emulsifier.
- Mechanical seal with safety sealing system.
- Nominal speed: 2,900 rpm.
- Power: 5.5 kW.
Designed to centralize the production of fine emulsions, suspensions and high-viscosity products in a single unit, easily movable by pallet truck or forklift. It can process products up to 70,000 cP and achieve particle sizes down to 10 μm.
The unit is controlled through an integrated control panel and includes a vacuum pump, CIP cleaning spray balls, load cells on the legs, and hydraulic cylinders for lifting the top head. Optionally, a temperature control system can be added for heating and cooling the jacket.
